A Polar crew will be performing derrick repairs on the derick of the Transocean Amerante starting Monday, Feb. 25. The job will done at dockside in Pascagoula Ms.

Polar has a crew currently building a new derrick for the Diamond Offshore semi "Ocean Yorktown" at the Amfels Shipyard in Brownsville TX.

We are also involved with the provision of a new derrick and the refurbishment of another derrick for Anadarko. William Jacob Management Inc. is the project management firm. Both projects represent as large a project ever performed by Polar and both are on track for on time delivery. The derricks will be test assembled at Kiewit Shipyard in Ingleside Texas and eventually be installed on platforms offshore Brazil. 

Polar is looking to hire experienced rigbuilders.
